How can I get this really good prospect off the pot?

Do you know anyone in this pickle?

"I have this really good guy and he won't commit. It's driving me crazy because he'd be SO good if he could just see the big picture. WHAT CAN I DO?"

Or this one?

"I hate following up with the people. I always feel like I want it more than they do. I HATE calling them back and get anxiety attacks just looking at my call back list. Am I the only one who feels this way?"

What if there were a 'get them off the pot' question? So we'd all know immediately what needs to happen for them to make a decision?

Here's one.

Pretend you've had a few conversations, and they're stalling out. You know, the usual,

THEM: "Uh, well, ah, hmmm. I don't know, actually, uhh...I have a lot going on right now, but it sounds interesting..."

YOU: "OK, NAME, let me ask you this: What has to happen for you to make a decision about this?"

THEM: I have to dream about it, contemplate my navel, etc.
Maybe next Spring, after I finish my book
After my dad recovers from emergency surgery
After I talk to my [significant other]
After I meet with a few people who are successful already
After I review the company management
After I try the service/product
After football/Ali McBeal/ballet season is over.
etc.

WHATEVER IT IS, if it's something YOU can help with, go ahead and offer to help make it happen.

WAIT QUIETLY, pen in hand.

YOU: "When would you like to meet/see/review [whatever/whomever]?

And if it's not dependent on anything you can assist with or control, go:

YOU: "I understand. You want to call me when you're ready? Or you want me to contact you? You let me know. I don't want to be a bug if this is not the right thing for you to be doing with us. We really are looking for someone who wants to build up something that has long term income, so it's there for them when they want it. So, where do you want to go from here?"

Pause. Say nothing more.

Whatever they say, take appropriate action. If nothing is imminent, DO MORE REACHING OUT METHODS to seek out others who might be ready to make a change now. 13 more reaching out methods in the Truth book. ORDER HERE!

No need to get an ulcer over someone who's not ready. Remember, who makes up their mind? You? Or do they?

(Don't you just HATE that?)

Keep them on your 'later' list and do your usual 3-5 methods of reaching out to seek out others who might be right for the business right now.

After all, someone found you, didn't they? And someone found your upline top banana sponsor, didn't they?
