Take
deeds, things people say, or the way people say them. Everyone knows
what happens to children and adults who don't control themselves-either
the things they do, or what they say, and how, and to whom. All sorts
of unpleasant things, at the hands of others, and often later themselves,
for failing to have controlled what they did or said in one situation
or another. Or the way they did or said it. Hurts just thinking about
it.
That's what goes on INSIDE your head. According to experts
like Napoleon
Hill, the only thing human beings can control is their OWN thoughts,
attitudes, feelings and beliefs about things. It is said that people
who can control their focus, i.e. the things they think about, and how
they react to things that happen in their lives, are the most 'in control'
of themselves and their world. And they accomplish great things, despite
what happens around them or to them. Think Helen Keller, for example.
Envious ones call focused people selfish for being focused on what's
important to them. Instead of spending time doing other things. Many
said about Einstein, for example.
The
doubters and pukeys,
both inner and outer, and who refuse to be silent, are perhaps the biggest,
wettest blanket to those who wish to make a difference in their own
